Last night, I chatted with Ying, one of the girls on my MSN contact list & she asked me something pretty interesting; "What quality do you look for in a girl, a girl that you will take to be your soulmate, your lifelong partner?". I took my time, thought deeply about what she asked and then answered her. " Her appearance is not a big matter to me. A decent looking girl that clothes herself decently will easily win my heart, but that is only if she came as a loyal, caring & loving person that does no clubbing & most importantly, no merry-fuck-arounds." Flirters. I hate flirters. Is it really that hard to find a girl like that in the world today? Or is it possible that such perfection ceased to exist already? Everywhere I look, I don't see one that match my preferences. It makes me start to wonder if what I'm asking for is too much..
But I believe that a day will come where I shall meet the one, the one I'm looking for all this while that will not break my heart. The one that I'll cherish & stay by her for the rest of my life. If you were to be in my arms, I will promise to give you the best, if not, the better. Hope there'll not be anymore sympathy-based relationship for me in the future. One that went through the same situation as I did will know what I mean & how it feels. Once is more than enough to leave a permanent scar on my heart.
I'll be having my Chemistry practical paper tomorrow. I'm not fully prepared yet, but I suppose I'll be able to complete the questions without much complications. This is the first time since I've taken the A level course that I felt so confident about examinations. Heh.. Now that there's not much left that can be done except finishing some revisions, I'll pray & leave the rest to God.
The post for today will be rather special & interesting; a song & it's reprise version. Yes!! A double shot!! Fleurs Du Mal & Fleurs Du Mal [ Reprise ] by Sarah Brightman. A literal translation for Fleurs Du Mal will mean Flowers of Evil. Yep. For ya'll who don't know who the singer is, she is an English classical crossover soprano, actress, songwriter & dancer. Not that famous in Malaysia, but I love her voice. Why? Listen to the song yourself & you'll know the reason.. Haha. Try songs from songstresses like her once in a while, take a break from Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado, etc. You will realise the value of music by simply indulging yourself in songs like Fleurs Du Mal.
