I Remember

I was back in Malaysia for about 3 weeks. Yeah. For those who I didn't manage to contact or meet up with while I was back, I'm sorry. I couldn't blog to announce my return as I couldn't go online. Life pretty much sucked when there's no Internet, but the food & company of friends back there... That pretty much sums up everything. Heh..

Flew with Etihad Airways this time back to Malaysia. The seat configurations were much better than Emirates', & the take offs & landings were silky smooth. One of the best airlines I've took, definitely. It felt good to be home. Home sweet home. Friends everywhere.. Hmm.

Chinese New Year is around the corner. But this year it's simply different; something new for me. Chinese New Year without family members.. And Chinese New Year celebrated at -10'C.. Usually it's somewhere hot for me, but this year it's just cold.. Pure cold.. Not to mention that the Chinese New Year this year fell on the same day as Valentine's.. Oh, my Valentine.. Chinese New Year & Valentine's spent alone in a cold, far away land? That sucks badly.

I'm skipping topics here, feeling completely random. Learned a new Russian proverb from my Chemistry lecturer, which sounded quite true to me.. Чем меньше знаешь, лучше спишь, or translated as 'the less you know, the better you sleep'. Sometimes there are some things that we shouldn't even find out in the first place. These could be agonizing facts, unfair truths, evil plans... They could be anything. From a heart-breaking fact to spoiling a carefully planned surprise, finding out the truth could really bring one all sorts of miseries. And sometimes, it's not worth looking back & wondering why some things are the way they are now... Finding out only amplifies the pain, & by doing so we're being our own silent assassins..

Anyway... Happy Chinese New Year, again.. May ya'll have a prosperous new tiger year.. For those expecting a child anytime this year, wish you have a healthy baby. For those who are having exams, wish you luck in passing with flying colours. For those in a relationship, wish you happiness with the one you love. For those who are striving hard at everything else, I wish you all the best in everything you do. Happy Valentine's Day, to my beloved...

For An Angel

So.. Many of you must've heard about the latest, grandest news about me, leaving to Moscow, Russia very, very soon. Actual date not known yet, but it was earlier speculated to be either 14th, 16th or 18th. Now, the new dates has been released; it'll be either on the 21st, 23rd, or 25th. More news coming up on my date of departure will be updated here, so check back soon if you really wanna know the date & time of my flight.

Oh, I've not revealed anything about the purpose of me going there, right? Well.. This letter will explain everything..

Offer letter from RSMU (Russian State Medical University).

Yes, I'll be there to further my studies, picking up medical degree.

You see, as a student that is able to continue studying overseas, I should be happy, grateful & excited about it. But me? Not at all. There are some issues that are holding me back here, my emotions, my mentality. My feelings. My love. My family. My friends. My country. Home.

Everything will be explained & further described & evaluated in a special post, coming up very soon. First things first.

A farewell gathering is currently being organized, with a date fixed by fellow friends; they want it to be on the 12th of September, 2009 as it's a Saturday. They've already fixed the date, I'll now be fixing the place. 8 PM at Chillies' Grill & Bar, KLCC. Yes, it's a bit pricey. But hey, once in a blue moon. Give me a call or a SMS if you're coming, everyone is invited.

Updates on my car. A video will show them all. Last video of my moments, enjoying & spending quality time in my car with my state-of-art Hi-Def sound system.

I swear I cried when I was recording that video. It wasn't a well-recorded video, but it did, it filled me up with a bucket of tears & supplied me with enough water to sob the whole night. All the effort, time & care spent on the car.. The memories of my first car.. The fate of WRG 2669 is still currently unknown; it might be sold, or my parents might keep it as their second car.

Never Stop This Feeling

Alrite.. I know, this post has been delayed for quite some time. Almost a week, in fact. But nevermind.. Here comes the pictures from the gathering / my birthday!!

Anyway, just to give ya'll a basic idea of what happened on that day..

I've told everyone to meet up in my room at 4 P.M., the earliest came at 5:20 P.M.. So you guys may expect me to be quite disappointed (and pissed) as I was not given any reason at all why they were late. Everybody were in the room only at about 5:40 P.M., and I've lost about 2 hours there just to wait for them.

Anyway, that's fine. About 12 of them showed up in my room (Pathetically, only twelve showed up when I'm pretty sure that the SMS was forwarded to at least 20 of them.), and each of them chipped in some cheese for my birthday presents & card. I must say, my birthday this year was pretty much alcohol-orientated. I received 5 bottles of liquor as my birthday presents. Shocking? A bottle of whiskey, a bottle of wine, and 3 bottles of beer. Darn you guys, I'm trying my best to retire from drinking here & ya'll are tempting me like this.

Pictures below.

The bed.

Finally, they came.

Penang Kopitiam, Midvalley.

Sita the pretty girl.

We had dinner at Penang Kopitiam, heard from those who ordered Nasi Lemak said that the sambal was very, very good. I should try that next time. Well, it was fun having friends there. Don't know when will I be able to see all of you again.. Oh well. I appreciate everything, all the liquor that you guys bought for me especially.. Almost RM 300 for that bottle of whiskey, I'll never be much more happier than to see that piece of receipt in the plastic bag together with the liquor.. Thanks mates. I'll see all of you again sometime, perhaps more of you who couldn't make it can join the fun..

I started drinking that night. Got so emotional. Just a bottle of Heineken, though. Didn't wanna be knocked-out, just wanna allow myself to sleep more easily. But ya' know, some privacy in a hotel room, some booze, and Jay Chou's song playing in the background at 6 plus in the morning was really the best emotional atmosphere that I've ever experienced. I'm serious.

How was that? Try it, if u're an alcohol-lover & as emo-headed as me.

Not much of updates on my car. I fiddled around with some LED strips & connected it to the woofer, so that it follows the rhythm, the bass beat of whatever song that is playing. Kinda cool, actually. Here's a vid..

How was that? I was bored one day & I decided to connect the wire from the LED to the woofer, just to see what kind of lighting effects that I'll get. The LEDs are cheap, around RM 5 - 10 for a 120 CM strip.. Not bad, though. I'm proud of my own work.. Heh.

Gahh.. I'm tired.. Feeling really lethargic & tired lately, don't know why.. I need more than 10 hours of sleep a day or else I'll feel like a zombie.. So I'm off to sleep now..

Ahh yes.. Back to techno, trance & dance life..

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence

18th of July.. Supposed to be my birthday, rite...?

Now.. I really don't wanna celebrate my birthday or make it grand this year, but I figured out that it might as well be quite a good chance for a small reunion for me to see all of you guys again. The offer letter have not reached my hands yet, but if it does, I'll be leaving for Russia to pursue my studies in M.D. as soon as this September.

So please, do me a favour. If you guys still consider yourselves as friends of mine, then gather yourselves & meet me at Le Meridien Hotel this Saturday, 18/07/09 at 4 P.M.. We shall plan for what to do, where to go, what to eat & all in my room. Please do send me an SMS with your name on it if you're coming, just in case I've lost your number. I shall inform all of you of my room number this Saturday, so don't worry about it. About transport, I'm sure you guys can figure it out. I've been an organiser for ages, don't trouble me on such simple matters, alrite? Car-pooling, get our friends who'll be driving to fetch you. But I shall remind you guys that the parking fees at Le Meridien is not cheap; at RM 6.00 for the first hour. LRT to KL Sentral would be a smarter choice, but the hassle of taking bus/taxi to the station, then LRT to KL Sentral might be unbearable for some of you. Choose wisely, divide & share the parking fees, that's what I reckon.

Oh, and one more thing. I suppose most of ya'll are led here via SMS. So if it's possible, please help me forward that SMS to all our friends. It doesn't matter, the more the merrier, alrite?

Now... I'd really appreciate it if you can make it to my birthday party this year.. It's been my wish all along.. You shall be the best birthday present I'll ever receive if you ever appear in front of me.. Your presence will change everything.. Everything.. The memories will be etched onto my heart.. Forever...

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Regards,

Believe

All hell broke loose!! Parents scolded me for driving to Genting, telling me about how dangerous it is bla bla bla.. They were so noisy that our next door neighbour thought there was a fight going on & decided to call the police to patrol the area. Yeap, that serious. I don't see why do they have to be so angry about it; I already asked for their permission on the day before & after 1/2 an hour of lecturing, they allowed me to go.

I'm not giving a damn about that. Here's the video & pictures that I've promised last night.

Notice the black Estima at around 4:00. I was so close to it, squashed between the road divider & Estima. Luckily the driver slowed down, I accelerated & got out of the near-collision situation. Phew. The noise heard is not any paint-transfer or knocking noise; it's the ABS.

Pics next, tons to upload. Man, I can't live with Streamyx anymore. P1 WiMax anyone??

Had our dinner at Gohtong Jaya, Thai-style fried rice, Cantonese-style noodles & Hokkien-style fried noodles. LoL. 3 styles in 1 day, you don't often get the opportunity to do that. xD Kati smiling, posing with his Heineken. I still couldn't believe that I actually drank & drove after that.
Dangerous, and there shall not be a second time.

A GTR, again. Spotted at the parking lot behind the outdoor theme park. I wonder how could someone be so rich to leave their expensive sports car parked at somewhere so dark & prone to car-theft? Next to it is an Evo X, both Singaporean cars.

Proudly posing for MX's Lair.

First World Hotel, Lobby.

Posers.

Random~

The white-smokish thing in the picture; it's fog. So misty & foggy that even taking pictures is a hard job.

Ice-cream, outside at main entrance. Are we mad? YES!!

And some snooker after that.

I'm not a very fillial son, of course. And so I went out for another yum cha session despite getting scolded by my parents earlier. Who cares, man? Many ex-classmates showed up, and of course, some with new partners. Pictures on the way...

Can you see his pimples? If yes, then welcome to DSC-T500's world. xD

Yip, Koh & Lum.

Sita.. Somebody call the ghostbusters!!! LoL.

Lum & How.

Ng & Koh. Posers UNCENSORED!!

How & Nicholas, fondling with each others' nipples & enjoying every moment of it.

One of the best tonight.

Look at how cheL' & Elaine are focusing on the camera, with Kevin & Nicole focusing on each other at the background. Hahah!!

And then here's a video for tonight, just in case if there's anyone that didn't make it into any pictures that I've snapped. Except me, of course. I don't fancy taking my own pictures, which almost certainly mean I'm not a camwhore.

Finally, all pictures & videos uploaded. Zzz..

It's good to know that most of them are doing well, some working, some living the siu yeh's life just like me. Also, the rumours of Elaine & her new boyfriend is no longer a hoax. LoL. It's true and official; she brought him to meet us today. There, the guy in yellow. It felt weird & awkward, but I'm happy for her. Of course, that doesn't free me from the pain. Let me be a little poetic tonight, alright? In Bahasa Malaysia, I favour.

Hatiku terasa pilu, bagai seribu jarum menusuk-nusuk.
Ku menghargai apa mu tinggalkan,
Memori yang tidak pernah ku abaikan.
Tiada apa lagi yang ku harapkan,
Selain mu dilupakan..

It's been a long time since the last I used Malay language, so there might be some flaws on the single-paragraph poem, but please don't complain.

Going to sleep with tears of joy & sadness, my feelings are all mixed up. I dare not admit that I'm sad. Time to look at life more as a playground rather than a job, a chore.

Gonna watch Ip Man again tomorrow, leaving Wangsa Maju at 12 P.M.. Call me up before that if you wanna join the fun. For now, I'm ending this post. Wish all of my readers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.. Wait, New Year is still a few days away.. Hmm.. Plans? Will update ya'll with it soon..

ET

If you guys would just bear with me a little, for this post contain quite a number of pictures taken from a small reunion dinner at Hulu Langat Look Out Point Restaurant. You will also find 2 rather hilarious videos at the end of this post, courtesy of JunYew.

Most of my blog readers should already know about the gathering that I've planned a few days ago, and all the basic details about it. A total of about 20 or more friends are invited to the reunion dinner, but less than half of them showed up. I'm sure that in my previous post I've stated the unacceptable lame reasons they gave, but I couldn't believe it when more of them stood me up today, or fong fei kei-ed me. Landslide? Robbery-active area? Dudes, let me tell you guys something; don't promise blindly & then leave the organizer with some bluntly dumb fucked-up excuses to live with. As I've said earlier, they don't actually understand what it's like to be an event organizer. If you're not sure and can't confirm your presence, then please don't make shits sound so real & convince me so hard that you're coming. Don't tell me you did not promised me anything, because once you've confirmed that you're coming, I take your words for granted. You should know well who you are, there's no need for me to reveal your names, humiliating you.

So about 8 persons including me made it, splitted the crowd into 2 smaller groups of 4, 4 in my car & 4 in JunYew's. Some showed up late, but that's tolerable. Fetched JJ from the Setiawangsa LRT station, & we're ready to roll. The ride was alright, taking around 20 minutes for us to reach there. It was drizzling when we arrived, causing a thick layer of mist to enshroud the hill. I suppose the name 'Little Genting' suits the place well, it's exactly like a smaller version of Genting Highlands, minus the theme parks, hotels & casinos. Less crap, more pictures. I chose some of the best shots taken as we did not bring any proper cameras and can only rely on our hopeless camera phones; even Nicole's 5 MP SE K850i couldn't produce pictures with better quality. Something to do with the settings, perhaps? Hmm...

Shaun getting all horny & excited looking at the menu.

Yes JunYew, you made your point clear. I can see your bracers.

JJ: Ya' looking for a fight?? S.O.B.!!! Turn that camera away!! o.O

....I got punched & the camera tilted upwards.

After-rain at 7 P.M..

7:10 P.M..

Appetizer : Mushroom soup with bread.

The main course for my dinner : Black pepper chicken chop.

Enjoying dinner.

The rich boys, Apple MacBook & Intel Quad-Core.

A short walk after dinner is good for your health.

From the observation tower : Take 1.

Take 2.

Take 3. Bad lightings + low megapixels = poor quality.

Bread & Olives Cafe', hang-out session.

First and only picture of the day for the couple..

From the cafe'.

From the cafe', take 2 : Improved clarity.

I truly apologize for not being able to provide the finest of pictures as these are the best that I can find in my phone. But trust me, the pictures are not even half as beautiful as the real scenery. Visit the place & experience it for yourself. Feel the difference. I'm now tempted into buying a proper camera for myself. Perhaps the new Sony DSC-W110?

Hmm.. 7.2 MP, RM 699.00. I bet it'll be cheaper at Singapore. Maybe I should really get one, because camera & family portrait has been absent from my house for a few years. The last camera we had was a really old Cannon, which still runs on films. And after moving our home for about 4 times, the camera vanished. I don't think it really vanished just like that, though. One of the furniture movers hired must have taken the camera. Nevermind, I'll check the price for this digital camera & compare it to some other models or brands before making the final decision to lay down some cold hard cash.

Sorry Nicholas!! I do not have any pictures with you in it, because all of you were so busy chatting with each other & I did not have the chance to ask you for a few from your phone. So sorry if you're looking for fame here in my blog & I've unintentionally let you down.. xD

Dinner there was fine, good price, good food. Not actually very good, more or less in the value-for-money region. That is as good as it gets for what I've paid, & I had a sumptuous & satisfying meal. No complaints.

Fixing Cobra's buzzer into my car tomorrow to enhance the existing alarm system. I was given quite a good price for it, so better not let it go. Car thefts & break-ins are worrying me, so might as well take some prevention steps before it happens, touchwood.

Here are the promised videos, it's actually 2 parts of the same video. WARNING: May contain crude humor & negative or obscene elements, viewers' discretion advised. Watch at your own risk.

Part I :

Part II:

Can anyone recommend a sure-fire way to get rid of the cats that often stray into the house, once and for all? Chasing them away won't work, because I have a maid that will never stop feeding them no matter what I do, which includes threatening to kill her if she doesn't stop it. Nah, just kidding. Seriously, I've talked to her so many times & told her not to feed the cats, but she just won't quit doing it. I guess it's in the Indonesians' & Malays' blood to love cats, not racially speaking, but based on fact. Don't get me wrong; I'm a animal lover, but stray cats? Never. You won't know what kind of diseases they carry around with them. It irritates & frustrates me even more when my neighbours' cats ventures all the way into my house looking for food, as if my neighbours are so darn pathetically poor that they couldn't even afford to feed their pets. Today, one of the cats crossed the line. I went upstairs just now, switched the staircase lights on & found a fucked up grey stray cat lying comfortably on my mom's favourite RM 4,000 plus couch. Smart enough to escape down the stairs through the windows, otherwise I would've killed & decapitated it, then took a picture of it's head & uploaded it here. I ran out of ideas on repelling those creeps, turning to my 6-year-old BB gun as the last resort. I'll stick a laser to the gun, so that the next time I see any male cats coming into my territory, I'd be able to aim & give nice blows to their balls. Female? Headshot, preferably the eyes. I'm sick & tired of those cats, so don't ask me if I'm a little ruthless at 'executing' them.

Alright, gotta go. Post ends here tonight, can't bear with the upload speed. Took me almost 2 hours to upload a 5-minute video. Hopeless Streamyx.
