L : Change The World

Watched the sneak preview of L Change The World today ( actual release date on 3rd April 2008, but I got lucky & get to book a ticket for the preview last night when I was checking out new movies on GSC's homepage ), a pretty impressive movie by Japanese director Hideo Nakata, which is supposed to be a sequel to Death Note 2 : The Last Name. But as the title reads, this movie has got little or nothing to do at all with Death Notes & Shinigamis. Instead, the focus is primarily on L Lawliet, a smart detective that consumes nothing without sugar.. LoL. A must watch for Death Note fans..

Finally, L actually stood up straight in a few scenes in this movie.. Hahah.. Well, this episode chronicles the final 23 days of L's life, and follows L as he solves one final case, which was to stop the plan to spread a deadly virus that will wipe out mankind. Erm.. Many of the reviews on L's own spin-off said that the movie is poorly conceived & badly written, although I don't agree with them.. It is still interesting at its own.. I have my own points to argue that they were simply expecting too much from this movie. First, the title itself already says it all. ' L : Change The World '. They did not even name it Death Note, & these buggers that think they're so genius walking into a cinema, spending 2 hours hopelessly wanting to watch Shinigamis flying here & there giving people heart attacks before getting disappointed & start to criticize the movie by giving their pointless comments & reviews. Dude, please read the title & movie synopsis before watching & start sharing your useless piece of mind.

One of the scenes in the movie; L burning the Death Notes.

Well, L is as cool as ever. L's hardcore fans will definitely love it this time with L offering his sweets, smiling & trying to stand up straight.. LoL. By the end of the movie, L named a boy Near, or N, a boy that he took care of after F's ( another detective in the secret organization of crime fighting ) death in Thailand. I suppose there'll be another sequel to the Death Note series since L found his apprentice.. LoL. I'll give 4 out of 5 stars for this movie, & it is highly recommended for L's die-hard fans.. Heh..

I'm not sure why I couldn't load the imeem upload page.. I'm so sorry to inform that there will not be any recommended song for today. A double shot post will be made in order to replace the 1 for today.. Sorry to disappoint you guys.. Anyway, gotta go for now.. My gaming hormone is rising, although exams are just around the corner.. LoL.
