When was the last time that you walked into a pirated DVD/VCD/CD shop heard & watch Michael Jackson's music videos being played & his best selling DVDs, VCDs, CDs being stacked up & posters of him stuck in front of the store?

Recently. Or more precisely, after he's dead.

You see, this is the thing with us. I've said this once too many times; we're all hypocrites. We appreciate things after they're gone. We miss them after they're gone. We love their songs after they're gone. What for?

Fuck ya'll hypocrites. I hate them, I fucking hate them fucked-up hypocrites. People who made harsh comments on M.J., and loved him after he's dead. People who hated his song when he's alive, & started listening to it after he's dead. People who boycotted his merchandise when he was accused of child molestation, & bought them after he's dead. Fuck ya'll hypocrites, burn in hell you motherfuckers sons of bitches.

Same goes for any other artists. They will only be truly appreciated for their contribution to the music or film industry after they're dead. So you guys better make a bang, some big news before you die. At least you'll be remembered for something good when you're alive, so that people wouldn't appreciate you only after you're dead.

Okay, specifications of my new laptop.

Core 2 Duo 2.40 GHZ, 3MB L2 Cache, 1066MHZ FSB, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB SATA, running on Vista Home Premium.

The laptop is designed by Pininfarina. What I'm confused about & don't understand is, what is the big Italian automotive-designing firm doing designing a laptop? I suppose they're better off designing cars like Jaguars, Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, or even Rolls Royces. Anyway, Pininfarina did quite well in adding chromes to the sides & the curve on the speaker ramp. Splendid.

The Remedy

I don't really have the mood to blog right now, but still.. I'll have to update my readers with news about me. Something just happened, & everything is just not right for me. I feel so empty. Yet, as I've once said, the pain of a thousand needles piercing through my heart can be well-hidden & masked by a smile on my face. Let's move on, I'm sure none of you guys would wanna listen to me whining anyway.

It was my uncle's birthday, exactly 2 weeks ago, on the 15th of June. A celebration or a small party was organized & carried out at Xenri D'Garden Terrace, a Japanese cuisine restaurant at Wisma Hap Seng. Flipped through the pages of the menu, the food there isn't cheap by any means. A set of 12 pieces of sushi for about RM 50+ - RM 60+, if I'm not mistaken.

Although the prices of food & drinks there are a bit steep, the place is, well, undescribable & unexplainable. I'll let the pictures do the talking. And oh, Xenri is opened by a not-too-far-related cousin of mine, & it's associated with Elken. Interesting.

Appetizer. The first dish of the day. A small piece of tofu with scallop on it in a small bowl on a big white plate. I took a glance at this, & I was almost disappointed by the tiny size of it, but the taste definitely did not let me down. Appetizing appetizer, I must say.

Next, soup with mushroom & clam or in Cantonese, "Shiong tong la-la.". LoL. Nahh, this one tastes better than that. By a million times.

Red wine with Japanese food?? No, never. They don't go together.

Everything RAW!! Salmon, sashimi & uh.. Not sure what they call that anyway. LoL. Perfect for raw-food lover.

Oyster omelette with cheese.

One of the best of the day.

Tofu, again, but this time with shark fin.

They have a name for this, but I forgot. Anyway, it's still Teriyaki Katsu Don, named differently only because of the sauce used. As a Teriyaki Chicken Rice fan, this is probably one of the best in town that I've tried.

Noodles with half-done egg & prawn spells C-H-O-L-E-S-T-E-R-O-L.

The dessert, last of the list. Green tea pudding with red beans & strawberry. Sweet.

Of course there's something special for the birthday star of the night. A plate of tofu with bird's nest & abalone was made specially for my uncle.

Didn't get the chance to take the picture of the abalone. Too bad so sad.

The food at Xenri was good, but not really a good value for money as they were a bit overpriced. But it was truly an experience to dine there in the welcoming & warm, classy atmosphere. Recommended for Japanese food lovers who wants something out of the ordinary or fusion cuisines.

What else? My car, perhaps.

Now, my parents just went nuts recently; they've spent around RM 11k plus on a TV & a refrigerator. A 50-inch LG plasma TV & a 4-door Sharp refrigerator. Madness. What's wrong with them? I have no idea. None at all. I've been their son of 19 years, I've never ever seen their craze for such a big TV. Never. Can't wait for the latest original Transformers 2 : Revenge of The Fallen DVD to be released, & then I'll watch it on the new TV.

Too big, simply too big for a family of three.

Yeap, feeling good is what most, if not, all the youngsters of today are seeking for. Clubbing, smoking, alcohol & drugs. But before I get into the main topic, there's something that I wanna share with all of you..


Yeah, I bought a new phone for myself. I was offered a deal, actually.. The original price for the phone now in the market is about RM 599, but someone I know offered me a rock-bottom price, which I will not reveal as it might cause some discomfort to my blog readers.. xD

So, what is it? It's a 2.0 MP camera flip phone, with an additional VGA camera on the inside for 3G video calling, as well as a memory slot supporting up to 4GB of Micro SD. In this case, however, a 1-GB Micro SD memory card comes with the package. Yep, it's the not-so-new Motorola RAZR MAXX V6 Ferrari Limited Edition. Package includes the usual stuffs; a 12-month warranty card, battery charger, headphones, phone-PC cable, a Motorola keychain and of course, a Ferrari Red Limited Edition pouch.


So what the Motorola team did to the ordinary RAZR MAXX V6 was, they stuck a Ferrari Scuderia logo on to the top front of the phone, a Ferrari theme with special tones, & TONS of pictures of Ferrari cars. I'm not kidding.

One of the most prominent feature of Motorola's RAZR series would be the 'thickness' of the phones. Erm, it's supposed to be slim, but the difference of the thickness between this phone & Sony's W980 is..well, it's hard to see. Maybe around ±0.1 mm?

I shouldn't complain much about the phone as the price is unreasonably low, and it's NEW. Acquired this phone as a 3rd phone, after my W980 and B110, Hotlink & uMobile. This one here will be carrying a new Celcom sim card. Inform me if you want my Celcom number. Hahaha.

Okay, enough about my new phone. Back to the main topic..

Clubbing, anyone?

It's weird, but even in my late teen venturing into my 20s, I might possibly never understand the fun of nightlife involving hard, thrashing music, cigarettes, alcohol & drugs. What's the fun in it? Not to mention the things that I've seen in places like this; girls getting groped in the dark, strangers or sometimes even friends spiking drinks, couples getting high & getting it on in the toilet, they actually set this perception in my mind that clubbing is an activity for the jobless & lifeless. No offence to friends of mine who are avid clubbers, it's just what I think.

But seriously, why? Why clubbing, smoking, drinking & drug abuse when the cash could be better spent for something else? An investment, perhaps? Everything in a club is over-priced. Hard liquor, especially. A bottle of J.D. or Chivas would easily fetch over RM 200-300 in a club, almost double the price paid for the same thing in most supermarkets. Point one clarified; it's not cheaper to drink at a club. And you risk getting your drinks spiked too.

The essence & atmosphere of clubbing usually consists of heavy cigarette smoke, heavy alcohol smell, loud music, & people dancing on a floor smeared with vomit. Let's just say that a girl were to go clubbing just for the music & dance.. I'm sorry, but I don't seem to be able to get this off my mind; I've seen guys, total strangers, grabbing girls in clubs, 7 times in a single night. I don't care what ya'll are going to say, I just wanna make my second point clear. Be careful, girls, if you were to ever set foot into places like this.

Third and the last point. Drugs are simply so common among clubbers nowadays. Ecstasy? Ice? Heroine in Perillys cigarettes? Some clubbers desperately seek ways to get high quicker & faster than simply drinking, they resort to drugs. Now, it's perfectly alright if they wanna spoil their own life by taking drugs, but it seems that they're also using it on their peers by secretly mixing drugs into their drinks or cigarettes. Drugs causes addiction & dependance, and when used in large quantity, they put one's health in risk.

I've seen shits happening to friends that I care about a lot, people around me who matters & means a lot to me, and I don't want more of them to get into these.

Warghh!!! Damn, yesterday I placed my pair of jeans on my bag, with my handphone in the pocket. My aunt mistakenly thought that it's to be washed, and then put it into the washing machine. My Sony Ericsson G502.. T_T I've tried everything I can to bring my phone back to life, even giving it CPR, but I just can't get it to start. New phone lor, a lauya Samsung B110. Zzz.. Luckily I've got a camera now, so there is no need for me to get a camera phone. Bought the new phone for SG$88, or about RM 200. Sigh..

Now I've got 2 equally-lauya phone. Zzz..

So friends can now SMS me your names & phone numbers, again. Zzz.. How troublesome. I've lost 3 phones in 1 year, and that's VERY unlucky.

Anyway, there is something I wanted to share that will surely piss my Malaysian peers off today. What? Of course, our never-changing fucked up ISP, TMnet. Look at this picture below and you'll understand why am I so angry with Streamyx & it's slowness.

I bought a new Sony Microvault 16GB USB thumbdrive today at Sim Lim Centre, which is a shopping centre for PC geeks, comparable to that of Malaysia's Low Yat Plaza. Most of the things there are pretty cheap & prices might simply be better than in Malaysia. For an instance, a 320 GB 2.5" external hard drive at only SG$109. Do the currency conversion maths and you'll find that it's less than RM 300, which should be the starting price for a Maxtor 320GB. Anyway, the 16GB flash drive I bought - it's kinda pricey at SG$74, but it's Sony. LoL. Okay, I'm not a 'brandomaniac' or someone that goes for the bigger name, I find Sony stuffs simply more reliable; the warranty for them is international which means that if anything goes wrong I can claim it from any Sony outlets in the world. It sounds better now, don't ya' think? And there's more. 5-year-warranty seems to be pretty common, & Sony knew how to refine & improve their promotions to draw more consumers' attention & better impression. They include a Casino Royale DVD as a bonus to the thumbdrive. Great, coz' the last and only time I watched Casino Royale, it was pretty fucked up (pirated DVD).

Electronic stuffs in Singapore, they are really cheap. Well.. Kinda explains how you can get this set below, what looks like a 32 or 40-inch LG plasma TV with matching surround system, the identical set in my uncle's house for about SG$1500. That's about RM 3600. A TV that size will cost significantly more in Malaysia.

Oohh... And that's only the TV. Hmm..

Hey hey hey.. What's up, huh? Yeah, bought my camera today. My mom was super generous today, not sure why. "Aiya, use the credit card lah!!", and I picked the Sony T500, at $699 with 8GB Memory Stick, carrying case & an extra spare battery worth SG$ 299. Not bad, this is a deal that I'll NEVER get back in KL.

I now officially announce that I'm free from the constrict of DotA addiction, and I'm no longer a crazily devoted gamer as I was once. Maybe it's because there are no updates on all these games, making them look less tempting to me. LoL. Honestly, I'm now more interested about things that actually matters & those that will affect my future in a way or another. Hmm.. Weird..

Guess what? I'll be leaving to Singapore tomorrow, by bus, all by myself, again. Hahaha. Gonna check out the ATF (Asia Television Forum) conference held at Suntec Convention Centre on behalf of my mom, she's got some evil plans with those films. LoL. Hope to re-visit some places there such as shopping malls & parks. Hmm.. And most probably purchase a digital camera there. Oh, I've changed my mind about that Sony model I talked about in my previous post. Now I'm looking forward to be the proud owner of either the new Fujifilm Z200FD or Sony T300/B. Check it out yourselves, I'm too lazy to search for the pics online. Hah.

DotA did leave quite a big effect on our lives, and the aftermath to students is usually disastrous. Play too much, and you'll fail your papers. Practice too little, you're forever a noob. True story; I DID failed a few papers in school & college due to excessive DotA & no study. Good thing is I do not remain an addict and am now a free man. Hahahah. If you guys would just bear with me a little, for this post contain quite a number of pictures taken from a small reunion dinner at Hulu Langat Look Out Point Restaurant. You will also find 2 rather hilarious videos at the end of this post, courtesy of JunYew.

Most of my blog readers should already know about the gathering that I've planned a few days ago, and all the basic details about it. A total of about 20 or more friends are invited to the reunion dinner, but less than half of them showed up. I'm sure that in my previous post I've stated the unacceptable lame reasons they gave, but I couldn't believe it when more of them stood me up today, or fong fei kei-ed me. Landslide? Robbery-active area? Dudes, let me tell you guys something; don't promise blindly & then leave the organizer with some bluntly dumb fucked-up excuses to live with. As I've said earlier, they don't actually understand what it's like to be an event organizer. If you're not sure and can't confirm your presence, then please don't make shits sound so real & convince me so hard that you're coming. Don't tell me you did not promised me anything, because once you've confirmed that you're coming, I take your words for granted. You should know well who you are, there's no need for me to reveal your names, humiliating you.

So about 8 persons including me made it, splitted the crowd into 2 smaller groups of 4, 4 in my car & 4 in JunYew's. Some showed up late, but that's tolerable. Fetched JJ from the Setiawangsa LRT station, & we're ready to roll. The ride was alright, taking around 20 minutes for us to reach there. It was drizzling when we arrived, causing a thick layer of mist to enshroud the hill. I suppose the name 'Little Genting' suits the place well, it's exactly like a smaller version of Genting Highlands, minus the theme parks, hotels & casinos. Less crap, more pictures. I chose some of the best shots taken as we did not bring any proper cameras and can only rely on our hopeless camera phones; even Nicole's 5 MP SE K850i couldn't produce pictures with better quality. Something to do with the settings, perhaps? Hmm...

I truly apologize for not being able to provide the finest of pictures as these are the best that I can find in my phone. But trust me, the pictures are not even half as beautiful as the real scenery. Visit the place & experience it for yourself. Feel the difference. I'm now tempted into buying a proper camera for myself. Perhaps the new Sony DSC-W110?

Hmm.. 7.2 MP, RM 699.00. I bet it'll be cheaper at Singapore. Maybe I should really get one, because camera & family portrait has been absent from my house for a few years. The last camera we had was a really old Cannon, which still runs on films. And after moving our home for about 4 times, the camera vanished. I don't think it really vanished just like that, though. One of the furniture movers hired must have taken the camera. Nevermind, I'll check the price for this digital camera & compare it to some other models or brands before making the final decision to lay down some cold hard cash.

Dinner there was fine, good price, good food. Not actually very good, more or less in the value-for-money region. That is as good as it gets for what I've paid, & I had a sumptuous & satisfying meal. No complaints.

Fixing Cobra's buzzer into my car tomorrow to enhance the existing alarm system. I was given quite a good price for it, so better not let it go. Car thefts & break-ins are worrying me, so might as well take some prevention steps before it happens, touchwood.

Can anyone recommend a sure-fire way to get rid of the cats that often stray into the house, once and for all? Chasing them away won't work, because I have a maid that will never stop feeding them no matter what I do, which includes threatening to kill her if she doesn't stop it. Nah, just kidding. Seriously, I've talked to her so many times & told her not to feed the cats, but she just won't quit doing it. I guess it's in the Indonesians' & Malays' blood to love cats, not racially speaking, but based on fact. Don't get me wrong; I'm a animal lover, but stray cats? Never. You won't know what kind of diseases they carry around with them. It irritates & frustrates me even more when my neighbours' cats ventures all the way into my house looking for food, as if my neighbours are so darn pathetically poor that they couldn't even afford to feed their pets. Today, one of the cats crossed the line. I went upstairs just now, switched the staircase lights on & found a fucked up grey stray cat lying comfortably on my mom's favourite RM 4,000 plus couch. Smart enough to escape down the stairs through the windows, otherwise I would've killed & decapitated it, then took a picture of it's head & uploaded it here. I ran out of ideas on repelling those creeps, turning to my 6-year-old BB gun as the last resort. I'll stick a laser to the gun, so that the next time I see any male cats coming into my territory, I'd be able to aim & give nice blows to their balls. Female? Headshot, preferably the eyes. I'm sick & tired of those cats, so don't ask me if I'm a little ruthless at 'executing' them.
